Welcome to the Governance page of Pennsylvania Highlands Community College. College governance functions on the "shared governance" principle, which provides all members of the college community a voice in college policies. Administrators, Faculty, Staff, and Students all have their own senates to discuss college policies. These senates send representatives to College Senate, which in turn provides policy feedback to the College President, who then brings policy changes to the Board of Trustees, who have final say on college policies. This allows the college to leverage the knowledge and experience of everyone to make Penn Highlands the best educational institution it can be.
To the left of this page, you will see a series of subpages with more information on all the different senates and committees that make up college governance.
