What is a Make-Up Exam?
Can I Make Up a Missed Exam or Quiz?
Review your syllabus for each class to determine if the instructor permits make-up testing. Students should be aware of the testing policy of their instructors and must abide by the policy. In some cases an instructor will grant special permission for a student to complete an exam that was administered during a scheduled class time. This permission is at the discretion of the instructor. Permission is not granted in all situations.
If your instructor is allowing you to make up a test, be aware of the hours of the make-up test center location. Most make-up exams are administered in the Student Success Center at Richland or at the education Center (Blair, Ebensburg, Huntingdon, or Somerset) that you attend.
Please be sure to schedule your make-up test 24 hours in advance for the Student Success Center and use the

When you arrive for your makeup test, be prepared to provide your student ID or other form of photo ID and the instructor's name for which you are taking a makeup exam.
Cell phone use is not permitted in the makeup test area.
Students must allow enough time to finish a test within the time limit provided by the instructor and before the closing of the Student Success Center or education center.
Students with approved accommodations should discuss availability of the quiet testing room at least 1 week prior with the Student Accessibility Specialist.
For more detailed description of the make-up test procedure, please read the
